Module1: My Blog Theme
Hello everyone, this is my blog theme, and I will be telling you a little bit about why I chose this theme. First and foremost, I went with the basic theme that was already given to me due to the fact that it was eye-catching from the start. I liked how it gave me a space-type of look and looked like we were in a spaceship, if I’m being honest. It kind of reminds me of the movie Guardians of the Galaxy.
One thing that caught my eye when I was going through the themes was the stars in the background. It gave me a peaceful type of feeling and looks nice to look at every time I open up my blog. I also wanted to use this theme due to the fact that it looks like I can customize it to my own liking in the future.
I already like the colors they gave me because they are very simple and clean, but if I were to add more customization's, I think that it can all fit together. This is my first time ever making a blog or using this website, so I think it’s pretty cool, and I can’t wait to see what my blog will look like towards the end of the semester.
This theme was one of the most eye-catching themes of them all because it was one of the first ones I scrolled past, but I knew that I was going to come back and choose that one all along. If I’m being honest, it looks simple and plain, but that’s just how I like it, and it fits me.
If I’m being completely honest, though, I would have to say red is my favorite color, and there is not one drop of red on my theme, but I think that’s why I like it more because I’m expanding my color options more. I can tell that it’s growing on me because of how much the blue stands out. My favorite thing about my theme is how it’s all dark and just looks calm to me. It makes me feel settled, and it’s not so vibrant to the point where it’s hurting my eyes. I’m glad of the theme I chose and can’t wait to see what it becomes with my creativity in the future.
Hey Josh, I think the theme and background you chose was super cool! I like how you didn't use a classic blog theme rather something that almost looks like your personal website. I also think the image you chose was super cool, it gives a sort of fantasy aspect to a super sleek and clean looking blog. Super Cool! Can't wait to see what else you write about !

The space and spaceship vibe comes through really clearly, and the comparison to Guardians of the Galaxy actually makes a lot of sense. The stars and darker background give the blog a calm, almost peaceful feel, which I think works really well for something you’re going to be looking at all semester. I also liked how you mentioned leaving room for future customization while still appreciating how simple and clean it already is. Even the part about stepping outside your usual color preferences was interesting, because it shows you’re open to letting the theme grow on you over time.
