M3B - Defining My Target Market
I believe that my target market would have to be social media users/influencers. I just think that the fact of how much something can grow by the click of a few buttons is insane. For example, by using word of mouth, it’s a great way to get your business promoted faster than anything.
If you sell a shirt, for example, to one consumer and he posted it on his social media with thousands of followers, all those followers are going to be able to see the shirt and say, “Hey, I want one, where can I get one?” I believe that that’s a great way to build relationships.
Also, I think that if I were to collab with influencers, it can expand my consumer production to different audiences that I didn’t have before. By promoting my business on social media like TikTok, I can gain traction from users across the world, or maybe even run ads on Meta, because I know that’s a great way to have my brand pop up in someone’s face while they’re just scrolling.
I know that an average person scrolls on social media for more than 4 hours a day, and that is enough time for my brand to get seen by the blink of an eye.
